DMCA and copyright notices

Effective 2026-09-11 · Applies to Y2Mate at webcreative.com.pl, the YouTube video downloader and MP3 converter.

If you hold rights in a video and want it blocked here: email contact@webcreative.com.pl with the video link, proof that you own or represent the rights, and the statements listed below. We aim to act on complete notices within a few business days; once processed, the converter refuses that video.

How the block works

Y2Mate (webcreative.com.pl) does not host videos. It converts a YouTube video on request and delivers the result to the person who asked. Blocking a video therefore means adding its YouTube identifier to a refusal list on our conversion relay: any later attempt to convert it, in either format, is stopped before processing begins. The video remains available on YouTube; only conversion through this site is prevented. If you want the video removed from YouTube itself, that request must go to YouTube.

What a valid notice must contain

We follow the notice-and-takedown model of the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) and apply the same procedure to rights holders everywhere. Send your notice to contact@webcreative.com.pl with the subject line "Copyright notice" and include:

  1. The work — identify the copyrighted work you say is infringed (title, author or label, registration number if you have one).
  2. The video — the full YouTube address of each video you want blocked. A list of links is fine; a description without links is not, because we can only block by video identifier.
  3. Your contact details — name, postal address, email address and, if you act for a company or a client, whom you represent.
  4. A good-faith statement — that you believe in good faith that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. An accuracy statement — that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act on the owner's behalf.
  6. Your signature — a physical or electronic signature; typing your full name at the end of the email is sufficient.

Notices missing any of these are answered with a request for the missing item rather than acted on. Sending a knowingly false notice can make you liable for damages under § 512(f).

What happens next

Repeat requests and lists

Labels, distributors and agencies with many titles may send a single notice covering multiple videos, or follow up an accepted notice with additional links under the same reference. The same six elements are required once per notice, not once per link.

Misuse of the converter

The terms of use restrict the service to content the user has the right to copy. We cannot see who converts what, but we can and do block videos on request, and we may block or rate-limit traffic that appears automated or abusive. If you believe the site is being used in a way that harms your rights beyond an individual video — for example, systematic scraping of a catalogue — describe it in your notice and we will look at the traffic pattern as well as the links.

Other complaints

For anything that is not a copyright matter — privacy questions, bugs, feedback — write to contact@webcreative.com.pl without the "Copyright notice" subject line, or see the privacy policy. Requests that are not copyright notices sent to the copyright address will be answered but may take longer.
